Winter Solstice Lantern Celebration

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS REACHED ITS MAXIMUM AND IS NOW CLOSED!

Come together with Common Digs' Forest School program and Highfield Farm to celebrate the winter solstice. 

We will meet in the Greenhouse at 4pm to make our own lanterns and enjoy golden hour before the sun sets (around 4:30pm). At 5pm we will then take a guided walk together through the farm and forest. The walk is ~0.5km on mulch pathways that are not cleared of snow- please wear waterproof and warm footwear! Following the walk, we will convene around fire pits for storytelling and hot chocolate. 

If you are able, please BRING YOUR OWN:

• mason jar for our lantern craft
• thermos/mug for hot chocolate

This event is mostly outdoors - please dress for the weather!
