Compost Week - Open Farm & Tool TradeÂ
We are so excited to open our doors and kick-off the 2023 season together!
Meet the folks of highfield farm, tour the site, swap your tools, learn how to repair/maintain your tools, buy seedlings and sign up to volunteer.
Tool Trade & Repairs
In collaboration with the Calgary Horticultural Society
Bring your gently used gardening tools to trade with the community - at the tool swap you can drop tools you don't need or use anymore, and pick up new ones that you're interested in trying!Â
Learn how to repair and maintain your tools as well.
Sharpening by donation on-site!Â
Open Farm
In collaboration with the Highfield Farm Grower Members and Volunteer Clubs
Take a farm tour and meet the Grower Members of Highfield Farm. Explore the different spaces on site and learn about all the interesting things that our members have going on!
Meet some of the Clubs that are on-site as well and see where you want to join in and help out this season.Â
Seedling Sale
Our greenhouse is up and running and we will have seedlings for sale!Â
