About the Event

In the March edition of IndigiNews this year, Eden FineDay (indigenous storyteller in residence at the Vancouver Public Library), had this to say...

"If you live in "Canada", you are on Indigenous Land. Therefore, you are A) a treaty person, because the Crown engaged in treaties with Indigenous people, and B) responsible for learning about the history of the ground beneath your feet. Out of respect for the people who have been held by this land for 40 000 years. Out of respect for your children. Out of respect for yourself."

Starting july 13th, join us for the opportunity to increase your Treaty Literacy! Informal kindof book club/support group format - meeting wednesdays at the farm - program details available upon request.
