Greenhouse Build - Climate Battery

This project will be broken down into sections and we are offering a few different ways to get involved. As this process is very dependent on the weather, and steps have to be done in a certain order, all dates indicated are the IDEAL situation and are subject to change. Unless otherwise indicated, days will run from 9am-5pm. Volunteers are responsible for their own lunch, water etc.   

This is a very exciting project and we are thrilled to be able to share the process with our community. However, please consider your own skills and abilities, stamina and strength when registering to support these activities. For some roles, special skills are required. For others, there is an open call for volunteers. These roles will all be physically demanding and fast-paced. Although you will learn about the systems as they are installed, the focus here is installation over education. If you are interested in diving deeper into the systems and learning about the greenhouse process, we are hosting a Greenhouse Course (see the Farm Stand tab) that will follow this process from start to finish and provide more theoretical components.

CLIMATE BATTERY

The installation of the climate battery will be occurring prior to the structure build as long as weather allows. Will be done post-construction if necessary.
