Farm Fridays

Join us this Friday for a special Highfield Farm volunteer day and work bee! We are working on installing and planting a row of willow along the farm’s east property line Learn how to use willow for natural fencing, perimeter control, erosion control and bank stabilization. We are using a technique used in Fascines for Riparian Erosion Control. Our live willow stakes have been generously donated by the leaf ninjas to add some plant diversity and much needed living fencing.
