About the Event
Working with Vicky from @basilranch to create a play garden at Highfield Regenerative Farm children will have the opportunity each day to spend time designing the play garden and working toward the installation to bring it to life! There will also be lots of time to explore and play in the forested area of Highfield Farm as well! A play garden is based on the concept of Rusty Keeler's Natural Playscapes and Environments for the Soul! He writes "Playscape planning and creation can be a big part of your curriculum and the children should be involved in each step of the way."
A cross curricular class that will be great for homeschoolers! Children will have meaningful opportunities to engage in math, literacy, art, physical education, social studies, health and life skills and science!
Class size is limited to 12
$137.50+ gst per child
